                                      No aluminum foil! Then anything tomato based just makes the aluminum get into the food even worse. Hold it up to the light and you will see tiny holes in it.

                                        My favorite way to make a blt is to only put mayo on the lettuce and tomato side and on the bacon side I put, now stay with me here lol, ketchup and mustard. Mmm mmm.

                                              That bread is fantastic! I love the white bread and it makes a great grilled cheese. I'm not a fan of swiss and I don't get super fancy with the cheese. I never tried toasting both sides before. I think I will do that next time and see if I like it better. I think that brand of bread would hold up much better for a cheeseburger sandwich than the store brand or some of the others. The texture can handle hardier fillings I think.

                                                              Lets put egg yolk and oil on our grilled cheese. Did you ever put mayo in a hot pan and see what happens to it? And you think Crisco is gross?

                                                              Also, unless you have Chef credentials, you cannot call yourself a chef. Having a major in food studies does not make one a chef.

                                                                OK, a trick. To make sure the cheese melts on the inside, put the slices on the open face side, then cover the pan for about a minute and set it off the heat. After not even a minute, the cheese will be melty and then you can put the other toasted side onto it and continue the process as she does it.
