TW ruinned careers; Steve Scott lost the 1996 US Amaetur up by 5 in the last round and he never recovered from that lost; TW just walked on all players for over 12 yrs; Phil, Duval, Couples, Colin, Garica the kid, Els,Singh, Davis Love the joke, Harrington,Daily,Bob May, Rocco Meate, players like Gregg Norman the town cryer; the list is so long; they beat him sometimes but it was rare; TW drummed everyboby often and badly; the only thing that stopped TW was his bad back & bad knees; later an addiction to pain killers; he did not win for ten years; other wise all the records would have been TWs. TW is completely back now; winning #82 was huge==1st in PGA wins!!!Winning major #15 was super also. Only thing that stops TW from 18 majors is bad back & knees; the ride continues for 5 -7 more years....thank God I live in the Era of Tiger Woods..

Most important advice is teaching golf from the green to the tee and not from the tee to the green!

Genius! Start learning on the green and work your way back to the tee. You drive for show and putt for dough.

Loved the part at 4:39 about "being like Michael Jordan" ...he nailed it! It was fun to hear Tiger say he wanted to "Be like Mike", tons of kids in this generation had aspirations to be like MJ and he followed through, and dominated (and continues to dominate) the sport he loves.

I get what earl was saying but im kinda leaning towards jack. U cant be putting birdie unless u hit a good drive, and a solid approach. U can one putt every green but if its for only pars and bogeys then u gotta fix the first 2 shots which is your tee shot and iron game. So tee to green to me makes more sense. But what Earl is trying to get at is its the putter and overall short game that makes it or breaks it. Smart man

what truly makes a global talent is not their talent but their raising. Tiger Woods, started playing golf at just 2 years old.. his father pushed him 4-6 hours every day, skipped classes, did everything he could consistently to endorse his skill set and build it up. Lebron James, started at 4 years old with a basketball his step father would play with him from dusk to dark every night and when he became old enough, he practiced every other day for hours. Wayne Gretzky, started as a 5 year old with his father playing pond hockey and grew his skillset over repetition and consistency.

Every and anyone that is great today is great because of consistency over time. By the time Woods, was 12 years old, he had around 15,000 hours more practice time than anyone else up to his age. Those hours matter greatly in skillset and that is how you develop as a professional.

                                                          talent is built,

His father became my father with his positive motivation . You’ve done it before you did it before and you know you can do it again so let the legend grow.
