      Scotty I'm seeking your wisdom on the OEM vs aftermarket parts I have a 2002 mustang gt 4.6l v8 sohc and I want to replace the timing chains and guides I have brand new high quality OEM chain tensioners but would the cheap aftermarket guides and chains be ok to use

      @Ryan ATC
      Change it. Do it every 24 months to 36 months, or every 30k miles. Change filter & Flush at the same change.
      Always use OEM parts to ensure fit & guaranteed life function. Use exact fluid recommended by mfr. Use Synthetic version for both engine oil, and trans fluid. Use cleaner, and conditioner at the change time. It's well worth it.Then lay back and watch your Trans hum.
      Do these religiously, and your tranny will serve you well for a very long time. Guaranteed!!! Ditto for your engine oil.
      Oil is always cheaper than a new engine, or tranny. Wouldn't you agree???

                            For anyone who is looking into a Lexus with a 1uz-fe v8 engine just know that the power steering pump is right above the alternator so constantly check under the hood for any power steering leaks because it will short out your alternator

                            If this is the case for you just know that it's an easy fix as long as you set a day aside and don't rush it and it is possible to take it out from the top because every YouTube video you'll look up will tell you to go from the bottom by jacking the car up and removing the passenger wheel but I will say it now, it is indeed 100% possible to get it out from the top if you don't want to be crawling underneath the car

                                Good morning scotty my name is Daniel i wanted to ask you i bought a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 5.3 LD and i bought it preowned with only 2k miles and i got to use the truck for almost 2 months and 9k miles before i had a major failure in the car first started out with the engine severely surging and turning off on the way down south from georgia with a small 2,000 lb trailer with my family in it left me stuck in the side of the highway and after attempting to restart it worked fine with every light on the dash was on and the transmission was hard shifting took the truck to the dealer after i arrive home in homestead florida took it to my local bowmin cheverolet dealer in dadeland and they kept my truck for 3 months and they never disclosed the issues i was having, i picked up my truck 2.5 weeks ago to only drive it for 3 hours before losing my brakes and still having my truck at the dealer again the problem i had again was the right brakes got stuck and faded and almost made me cause a accident in the turnpike and my transmission is still having the same problems as before. I would gladly appreciate if you can make a video thank and i love your videos they have showed me alot.

                                                    The speed to degradation comparisons are way off base.
                                                    A car's transmission invalidates this. A cars engine is working just as hard to travel at 30mph, as it is at 60mph, or 90mph.
