Why not get braces again or Invisalign to get your teeth back in shape? Especially since they were so healthy.

Gigi......I got veneers back in hmmmmmm..2002......I was told that they should last about 25 years.....WRONG....SO WRONG.....like you.....no cavities.....time went on.....let’s move to the present gorgeous....I had to get one replaced from this wall that decided to run into my face....lol.....LEGIT....unfortunately...as time went on...those nub nubs decayed....I know all about that “feeling”...could feel my veneers lifting or when I ran my tongue across the back of my teeth...I could feel a ridge......well....I’m now 52 and just got temporary dentures and all those beautiful veneers trashed....just take great care of those beautiful chickies....and hope that you never have to go thru what I’m currently going through....DENTURES SUCK!!!

Looks like you lost a full crown not a veneer. I understood veneers were flat and only applied to the front of the tooth with no grinding of the original tooth. Ive had 14k of dental work done and they grinded the entire top teeth down to stubs like you show in photo and I have all crowns.

Girl you’ve had crowns done not veneers. Teeth don’t shave down like a vamp for veneers. Veneers require the surface of your teeth to be shaved have a mil meter maybe and then the thin layer of veneer is attached atop your original teeth. Sorry but you had the most unnatural procedure with the most unnatural shade.

I've worked in dentistry, and currently back in school for it. I'm confused why you needed to be put under for a veneer seat? That was an unnecessary move on their part, and super inconvenient for you. Your teeth look amazing, however, it would have been cheaper and healthier for your teeth for you to have just gotten invisalign, and whitening treatment. After invisalign they can also reshape your teeth to however you like. The thing with braces is that afterwards you have to wear retainers every night pretty much for the rest of your life to prevent your teeth from shifting (unless they place permanent retainers). Granted, it's too late now, but it's just important to really do the research before getting something like this done because over time veneers or crowns can compromise the integrity of your teeth (leaking decay in the space where the crown/veneer meets your natural tooth), especially with you being young and having perfectly healthy teeth. Basically, you shaved away the healthy and strongest part of your tooth and replaced it with something that isn't as durable just for aesthetics when you could have gotten the same results in a healthier way. I don't want to offend ya or anything, just want you to be informed about your dental health!
