he sounds shocked about stacking monitors... granted it is most useful if you have a system that is designed for arena tiling, but is also useful when using multiple machines. (in business, many applications for that... in gaming... I would mostly lean toward the streamer wanting to do so. lower 3 monitors being your game PC, one upper being the stream controller, one being just a cheapo computer that is watching your stream. a third hooked up to your laptop when you are using it at the desk. or perhaps hooked up to a dedicated comms computer, or monitoring your server, or any number of other uses.

Why buy Monoprice stuff from Amazon? They have their own website and a lot of the things in this video are cheaper on their website

This gaming build is all sorts of fail. Why even bother? I would say if Monoprice had all the various components then sure. But from what I can tell, it was just the keyboard... The way you handed the monitor, I suppose it's a Monoprice product???? But I couldn't tell.

My sentiment about Amazon Basics is pretty much the same here, but I think that at least they have more computer related stuff, to round out a build.
How about this.... Linus, do an Amazon (Sold and Distributed by Amazon, build) Basically all Amazon Prime listed components, which is sold by Amazon and not the Market Place. This also excludes all the Amazon Warehouse or other Amazon named, but not Amazon marketed items.

Then we can properly judge a sane gaming PC build with measurable and reproducible results.

At first I thought they would compare the different kind of setups you could get at the same price point. Like for a 1000$ what if you focus more on your Monitor and peripherals than on the CPU. then I found out Monoprice is a company...

I have a legit monoprice DI box for pro guitar recording... THAT I BOUGHT ON AMAZON BECAUSE IT WAS CHEAPER THAN MONOPRICE'S OWN WEBSITE.

Also, I have a Zelotes F-15 "piece of shit" mouse that is somehow wireless AND wired, and if you put rechargeable NiMH or Lithium batteries in it, and when plugging it in as a wired mouse will simultaneously charge the rechargeable AA batteries (sold separately) LIKE A BOSS. Factor in that the buttons are clicky enough to tell when you press a button, while wearing circumaural or supraural headphones with reasonable volume playback, but not loud enough to annoy the shit out of you, and the mouse in general is a good weight and VERY responsive, both in wired and wireless mode, it's easily the best sub $20 mouse EVER LOL. I use a Perixx 10-keyless keyboard with low profile, laptop style chiclet keys, that I actually absolutely love, as well as a matching number pad; the keyboard has a single USB passthru port, and the number pad legit has a 2 port USB hub. Both of these were $14.99 when I bought them, one was bought on Newegg and the other on Amazon a few years later. I have a PDP wired red LED Xbox 360 controller, as well as a wired PS2/3 style controller, and a wireless version of the same controller, from GameSir, that the wireless version came with a smart phone clip, and the wired version has a short micro USB cable wired for OTG, and an adapter for a longer USB type A connection for PC. Ironically, I did it that way because it was cheaper than buying the wired controller with the phone clip and the wireless version without, so I swapped the clip to the wired controller, and use the wireless one with my desktop, lol. The same wire that charges my mouse serves the same functionality for the controller (charging the wireless battery, while in use as wired). I also have a $6 Tecknet 5-button Bluetooth mouse already paired on standby in case the mouse battery dies while I'm playing a game with only partial controller support, and it's actually my "daily driver/casual game/MMORPG" mouse that I use most of the time. I also have a Kaislin vertical GPU mount that I somehow got to work in a MicroATX case, with a Deepcool/GamerStorm Maelstrom AIO on the CPU, and ARGB SSD and RAM from TeamGroup T-Force, both addressed to RED, and both stay lit when the computer goes to sleep. The only fans that aren't UV Blue are 1 each black 120 and 140 fans, brand matched with the case, and the LED fan that came with the AIO cooler. I have the rest of the system decked with a 120 and a 180 mm, brand matched to the case fans (RaidMax). I also have a few bits from WAVLink, as well, like my USB Bluetooth dongle, a 2.5" USB 3 external hard drive enclosure, some braided micro USB cables, and a USB 3 type C to 4 Type A ports hub. Most of this stuff was bought from Newegg or Amazon, with a few things gleaned in-store and price matched where applicable from Fry's Electronics, in Renton, WA. Along with Monoprice, that makes the 4 stores that are my BREAD AND BUTTER for all my electronics and pro-audio needs. THE PRICES ARE TOO DAMN GOOD.

                                                                    • Katoptrys

It's Lightweight allows it to be Lightweight and that is better than a Middleweight or Heavyweight Cable also Lightweight is basically as performance adding as RGB and dowloaded RAM. ☆☆☆☆☆ Lightweight ☆☆☆☆☆

A couple years ago I picked up that monitor for $200, and because I’m not a gamer, it’s been great for me. It’s a massive 4K display that I plug my MacBook Pro into for making iOS apps.

I’ve also bought a couple guitars, both of which I heavily modified. They aren’t bad for the price, but you might find a better deal buying a used name brand.

Monoprice used to have much better deals than Amazon, but Amazon basics is now superior.
