Are any of you thinking of getting an RTX 20-series laptop? Is that performance bump appealing?

I would love a high end RTX 2080 or even 2070-powered gaming laptop, i bought a used but working MSI GS70 2PE STEALTH PRO 17,3" 60Hz 1080p, GTX 870m 3Gb GDDR5 and 16 Gb RAM, i7 4700HQ for around 215 euro. It is quite powerful and can handle GTA V but not with everything maxed out but with very high textures with some other settings lowered at pretty good fps.

Man it's funny. I can't decide if I want a 13 inch blade stealth with a gtx 1650 or a blade pro 17 inch or lastly the GS75 with 240 hz and an i9. They all look so good but the one thing that bothers me is that the 17 inch model has a smaller battery than the blade 15.

Much rather have a thicker device with better battery life and plenty of power.

You say "gold" but all I see is copper... It's pretty but not sure if my screen just has weird colors or what.

I’m planning to buy a MSI GS75 stealth. How is the display color accuracy? I read is around 94% sRGB. Do you think is good enough for video editing and color correction?

Why do people come to tech channels then talk about money there is people out there that have good jobs that work hard that's who these products are for not kids working at McDonald's and going to college or high school if you want stuff like this without breaking a sweat work hard get educated and spend hard not trying to be an ass but people have no problem spending 1500$ on a smartphone so how much should tech companies sell this for think people get your shit together nothing is free it takes hard work ok I'm done preaching God Bless

and me personally like the design, plus with that performance so yeah it's still worth.

They may be advertising additional build strength due to the high incidence of hinges breaking on older models. Clearly a design flaw, my GS73 Stealth hinge broke tonight after less than 2 months of light usage.

If the location of the windows key really bothers you, you can swipe it with the Fn key in Dragon center, and this is valid for all msi with the latest version of the dragon center

There is a big performance difference between RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Max-Q, the Max-Q version used on thin laptops are much weaker.

Since that we need NOT THIS. We need thin gaming laptop with external videocard combined with PCU. Use portable = use internal video. Or smth like mx150. Want power - use PCU+RTX2080 combo. This is Pure Simple Clear Logic.

The second - is barely noticeable difference between 2080maxq and full 2070 with second being cheaper.
                                                                        I want zephyrus 17 with 2070 tho

I do have a GS73VR 4K display. 1080p makes more sense since: less Windows shenanigans wiith scaling. Pixel perfect UIs for most apps. Less issues with color gamut. I hope they fixed the hinges since mine broke and I am far from the only one getting this. I cannot understand how they manage complicated stuff so well and miss this. I guess my next laptop will be this one still. Beware of Windows updates requiring reinstalls of updated network drivers on this thing. Other than that, very good machine for music and video production.
