Your wrong on this one Tesla has the battery production that no one has. Making ev is different and ford lost when they didn’t work with Tesla years ago. Rivian hasn’t even made one car for the public. It’s just Texas has laws that make it hard for Tesla. The ceo of VW even talked good about Tesla last week.

Cars that don't have a ladder type frame and crossmember damage the oil pan, transmission pan, pulleys too. Hitting a dip hard.
Carmaker solution for that is to lift the body higher. Most all headaches in modern cars is transverse mounting and zero space for hands to get access to worn out parts. I see plenty of idiots hitting dips at 30mph and bottoming out the chassis. Shops make a ton of money fixing driver stupid.

I finally found a video of Scotties on Cadillacs in general...I've been thinking about buying a Cadillac of some kind... whether it be Cadillac Escalade all the way to the Cadillac ATS... basically any modern model of Cadillac that's fairly cheap to buy used for my 1st vehicle...I found a bunch of cheap used Cadillacs ranging from $3K to $15K also been checking the Kelly blue book value on them to see if there worth what they're asking for and most of the time there asking any where from $2K to $12K less than there actually worth...I found a Cadillac Escalade Worth 25K According to Kelly blue book and there selling it for 15K I find good deal like that on used Cadillacs where I live at all the time.. that guy could have done a better job and found a cheaper Cadillac Escalade...40K for the average person is insane on any kind of vehicle not just Cadillacs

Cadillacs need a certain kind of respect, like Lincoln or old Dodge vans with the shag carpet, all about style and class. I think that between the intec/triton and Northstar the purpose was to be smooth running almost like nothing is there n they are both really good

This car has105,000 miles approximately. Not bad.

Hi Scotty, V8 Dodge Challengers or any other clean V8 muscle cars (Mustang, Camaro) have excellent resale value. They’re also fairly expensive.... so many of us including me take great care of them... it’s a bit like owning a Harley

I've been hearing that Tesla's are spontaneously combusting either while moving or parked lol.

Ford could have easily competed the Fusion with the Camry if they had just made a 3.5 L V6 but instead they decide to quit.

Speaking of electric cars and all, it amazes me the fuel economy you CAN get out of a gas motor in 2019. I'm 35 owned everything from a 84 Sentra 5 speed to a 2006 F-250 4x4 My Altima 2.5 easily get's 28mpg city with spirited driving, and on the highway upper 30's. It's a shame that gas motors are on the decline now that they designs are getting so efficient with modern 'Weak' CVT trannies. About the time the CVT is 100% perfected the gas motors will be totally obsolete :-(

My question is one of Maintenance. I have a 2015 Mazda 3 GT.. It has been a wonderful car(and I have owned some clunkers, so I KNOW). I currently have 65,000 miles on it and change the oil(with synthetic as required by my warranty) every 7500 miles. I have not done anything else to it except brakes, tires, and wiper blades. I am looking to give it a little tlc.. Transmission fluid and filter, air filter and ??????? That is my question, what would you recommend to keep things as close to new as possible.. It is the 2.5 liter model, but I think there are a lot of us out here with newer cars, that are well built(BY THE JAPANESE!!! I had to fight with 3 dealers to make sure I got a Japanese made one and not a Mexican made one), and want to do preventive maintenance on a budget without necessarily following the dealers playbook. Tx in advance..

                                                                        • Bruce Morris
                                                                          Bruce Morris  2 weeks back

James Woody maybe I wasted money, but on my 2016 Mazda at just under 50k miles I’ve had the brake fluid and COOLANT changed out. I don’t care what anybody says, I’m not leaving the same coolant in any aluminum engine for the 10 years/120,000 miles my book calls for, that’s lunacy to me

                                                                      • DashCamAndy
                                                                        DashCamAndy  2 weeks back

Another cause for difficulty shifting into Reverse from Park is from letting the car lurch forward after shifting to Park the last time it was driven. (Release the brake pedal gently and let the car slowly ease forward, or set the parking brake if it works properly.) That lurch forward puts excessive pressure on the parking pawl inside the transmission, and requires more force to shift out of park. My mother is guilty of this, no matter how many times I yell at her, or for how many years.

People I guess like the idea of the 1 yr factory warranty. My 2017 BMW X3 was returned recently off lease 29k miles, mint, had a residual of just under $30K. Same warranty.
