If you look real close you can see not one but TWO computers ask to update Windows in the background. Ugh. :P

H1B visas are in charge of maintaining Windows now; you're only in for a downward spiral as more low IQ techs continue to invade from India with nepotism.

If i would be the AMD, i would say this to the GOD OF DEATH: "Not TODAY !" Maybe you know how Game of Thrones end, i hope it will be the same for the Intel too :) Intel has the pride of the Army of Death and the tardiness of Cersei Lannister. They don't know when to stop from their snobbish, pride and greediness ! Well their time has finally came !!! :D

Why do you have a MAC on your desk? Did some production crew person put it there because it was on hand? I think that's the answer.

Of course games dont use more cores. The issue is directx peeks about at 6 cores.

If you are doing ANYTHING OTHER than gaming, then the 3900x is the clear champion.

Because when you build a "GAMING PC" it's not for gaming. Whatever, everyone just keep buying the underdog if if it makes your ego feel good. But if you're looking for the best gaming cpu, it's the 9700k and the 9900k that are around 25% ahead of the 3900x: IF YOU DON'T BOTTLENECK the cpu in the benchmarks -_- I think i still need to work on being more tactful, reality can be unpopular.

for me i dont see intel on equal ground, i was intel fan boy till they released a i7 8 core with no hypoerthreading, instead they created the i9 and gave you what i feel the i7 should have been and added another 150 uk pounds or dollars to it so, i feel hard done by intel and will now going forward turn to amd. I build about 5-10 machines a year for friends guess what ill be using. it wont be intel, i=unless they make a 8 core with hyperthreading for 300 uk pounds but even then i feel burned.

If you are doing pure gaming, the 9900k is king... but, and its a big but, AMDs next iterations are highly likely to take the lead. But thats ok, it will cultivate competition and help drive down prices :D

the i9 performs better in daily work in an animation studio .... most tasks you do in most 3d and 2d programs are single threaded or dualthreaded at best , be it importing , cloth , general editing, particles , rig or physics calculations like chains , the skinning and other deformers are sequential ... both are capable cpus though

I think it is dull to look at gaming in ryzen 9 and i9 series because usually people are smart and when they spend +500 usd on cpu, they know a 150 usd cpu is on par with 9900k in gaming(i5 9400f) thus they probably do more than gaming and they at least have a gpu of 2080 or 2080ti and probably plays on 4K where cpus all are on par. But i don't think this applies to R5 R7 segments.

If you spent 500 bucks on a cpu and 1000 bucks on a gpu to play cs go on 377 fps on 1080p. Well you are a stupid person because öy system which costed 350 bucks, does give upto 275 fps 1080p ultra(i5 9400f, rx 580 4gb, 3733mhz 8gbx2 ddr4).....

But in some other countries it truly is very expensive compared to Intel.

Musicians/Composers/Producers/Recording Engineers are going to need the lowest latency and the fastest real-time performance, same goes for VFX suites, video editing (pre-render), video game design, competitive gaming etc... Plenty of reasons to pick Intel over AMD still.

I have 3900x and 9900k rigs.... my 9900k holds way higher fps , oc's to 5ghz all core @ 1.25v and runs cooler.. 3900x works good as guest gaming rig and to show intel still rapes amd.. another key factor is amd costs more this round... motherboards are way higher priced , along with the 3900x being $50 more... If i didn't enjoy building and testing out new gen stuff i wouldn't have even bothered building an amd rig as that was a waste of money!

At 6:10 Gordon said 9900K is slightly faster for gaming because most games don't use multi cores efficiently and you seem not keen to get an AMD product. Get a 9900K with the fastest GPU you can afford if you mostly use it for gaming since a 9900K is slightly cheaper at the moment.
