    Bernard. I love your videos. But. This is the problem with doctors. You gained weight on purpose. People who are morbidly obese, come on, you know there is going to be a sh*t ton of emotional baggage dragging them down. It's an addiction.

          I gym everyday, what kind of diet should I go for? I'm 182cm, 70kg but still have a tiny bit of fat around my stomach, covering my abs slightly.

            I was pretty jacked for a kid back when I used to do Kung Fu and over a decade later in August 1st this year I started to go to the gym to get that body back. I've been going daily except for Sundays, doing 45 minutes of cardio first and then weights for a total of about 2 hours at the gym each day. I started at almost 190 pounds and on the first day of the 6th week I'd lost 13 pounds in total. Something that idk what happened, and I went back to weighing 186 pounds. I gained back most of the weigh the 6th week, but I'm still stronger, slimmer and everything, so idk how the progress still holds up when exercising, but the scale says I put 10 pounds back in a week...

            Currently I still weigh 186, so I've somehow gained a lot of the weight I lost, back in a short time despite eating less and aren't losing any significant amount of weight (varies from day to day anywhere from 184 to 186) and because I don't follow a diet in particular, I can't tell if this is a good thing as in the gain in muscle is countering the fat loss therefore weight loss gets cancelled out, or what... Waist went down an inch and a half and you can see the top abs, my biceps and triceps much better now, so I'm confused... All I do is watch the calories and eat less than 1k calories most the time, cuz I'd still like to eat whatever I want and get fit, since I did it before and should be able to do it again. So... idk, definitely not the scale's fault as I used the gym's and the one at home so it's not a malfunction or something. Guess I'm just leaving this here I guess to see what my progress looks like in the future to see if I can pull off getting ripped eating whatever I want as long as I just watch the calories and hit the gym everyday...

              I have currently used this specific “Yamzoko Weebly” (Google it) for some days already and also the final results are remarkable. They give me a lot of strength as well as control my desire for foods, however I don`t quit whenever they wear off which I really like, and they also don`t cause me to feel jittery. I have not changed other things I am doing and have shed 7 lbs. .

                                                I have lost 60 pounds my self in the last 10 months. But, I am on the Keto diet with intermittent fasting. The only way you could lose that much weight in that short period of time is through concentrated workouts, and it does help having a young body. I do not have a young body at 73, but I can still ride my bike 20 miles twice a week along with walking on the beach. You could have done all of your weight loss without having to eat any carbs. You being a doctor should understand what a Keto Diet can do for our bodies without having to go to the gym to accomplish what you did in that short time while eating that quantity of carbs. OR< was your trainer weaning you off carbs a little at a time. I stopped at four minutes in......

                                                              Yes. Very impressive. Respect. However I'm pretty sure you would have lost much more weight in much less time had you narrowed down the time window in which you were allowed to eat. Needless to say you'd have to top off around 40 percent of your usual intake but the muscle mass would have been preserved nonetheless. Given that you do lift a lot and eat realtively more than average that is. The aim here would have been to allow your gut some time to rest and be optimally efficient in the eating window thus burning more fat on a daily basis. Of course this hardly covers 2-3 percent of the details related to this process but the big picture is there. There are many ways to lose weight some more efficient than others but one should consider a plan with the least damage to the internal organs. Of course if anyone thinks differently I'd be glad to hear about your approaches.

                                                                                          Lard and butter is not unhealthy wtf... Lookup the free radicals in plant-based oils, I´ve lost close to 20 pounds in the last month following the Keto-Diet and a LOT of cardio and I almost only stuck to lard and butter, but also coconut oil.

                                                                                                  The cardio regimen was on top of his already intense resistance training, if you're aiming for better health/fitness not just dumping weight you should include a mix of cardio and resistance. Carbs are needed to fill your glycogen stores, you'll have more hypoglycemic episodes than he did and trouble focussing and lifting if you cut carbs completely especially if you ramp up the training at the same time
