      I am someone whonhas akways been at least 15-20 pounds over weight
      I my routine was walking/jogging and some simple streches everyday

      I have been training for 2 years now , arms , shoulders , chest , legs all good gains but stomach has gone down but still carrying some timber .                             I can imagine that Arnold's knee would make a loud noise if he "popped" a knee out of place or ripped a ligament!! I remember a friend telling me that when he used to train horses, he heard a horse break it's leg, and it sounded, practically, like a GUNSHOT! (by the way, the horse was treated and healed up just fine!). Anyway, I thought that was an exaggeration, until I broke my own leg, in two places (the tibia and the fibula), and VERY DISTINCTLY heard TWO, CLEAR snapping sounds, kind of like a thick twig or small tree branch breaking! Surprisingly, it didn't hurt too horribly (at first). I could NOT walk on it, but I could HOP without too much pain. It wasn't until a little later that it REALLY hurt, but I was in the Hospital being treated, so it wasn't too horrible. So if anyone thinks Arnold is exaggerating about his knee popping, I'd tend to believe him. Not sure about the "back row" hearing it though!

                              I remember reading about his bicycling home, after TORTURING his legs with squats, and going numb, about 30 years ago, in one of his books. That's a good story and a good lesson for ANYONE, doing ANYTHING! Never try to do too much, too soon and too fast! You'll do your body more harm than good.

                                                                                  I've been fasting for 5 days straight now. I've lost 1" off my waistline.
