I think i have a solution for a faster time. Leroy is no doubt fast, along with Cleetus being the driver, but Leroy has to have down force and less drag. Leroy is compensating for the Hp to over come the drag, which means Leroy needs a body to reduce the drag. Leroy at 19:01 in the video shows how much force is under Leroy making it spin and lose traction. For instance, I father and his brother use to build drag cars, when the car went up it was a good sign of traction on the back tires but this crates a problem. Leroy has so much acceleration he is able to get traction while losing some. In order to fix this it needs a front and rear diffuser to counter act the loss of speed. There are various panel options, but one that stood out to me is quarter turn fasteners ( https://www.offroadxtreme.com/engine-tech/other-tech/how-to-quarter-turn-fasteners-and-panel-installation/) I hope this helps.

Cleetus, I think it's time to get bigger tires for Leroy. Track condition is a huge deal, but if you lack meat where the rubber meets the road, it's going to spin them every time. 15 to 1600 HP is bound to eat. So get Leroy a bigger plate! And I would love to see him run the 1/2 mile

Leroy could benefit from a larger tire, no? Lost to the GTR due to the stick shift. Power to weight and drag coefficients were good. When you were next to him you were pulling right with him. He edged you out every time Leroy shifted. I remember the day when manual was king. Not anymore...
All you need is a slick body, at these speeds you loose half the horsepower to overcome air resistance. I think Leroy would slay through competition with a few body panels

Automatic shifts are seamless. Manuals will have a split second where there is no power. You lose that split second every shift.

I love how every time the car makes a good pass you can tell by the 1-2 Shift. Leroy was making some fucking STEAM on the two 7 second passes. Such a beast of a car.
