Just rewatched this episode and it might be my favorite ever! It is a masterpiece and quiet poetic. The Hound kills the Mountain by forcing HIM into fire. Cersei meets her final demise by being crushed under the weight of the red keep. The very place that has been her source of power for decades. Qyburn meets his demise by his greatest achievement. And at the end Arya beheld a pale horse and upon jumping on it became its rider, death.

Dam trev you have really disappointed me over the last year with your bullshit defence of the walking dead and game of thrones both the show are nothing compared to what they were. it's not the actors ruining the show but the directors and the writers... I feel that game of thrones has been the best show for the last ten years but this last season has destroyed everything that has been build up because of bad story writing and my problem with the walking dead is first they killed Karl off then Rick leaves it just ain't the same show anymore no matter what you say, trouble with both these show is they focus to much on the shock factor and to much emotional dialogue, and I don't even want to go into avengers endgame... Surely you understand what I'm saying fella

Plenty of people saw this one coming for years, me included. The execution was lacking though, because it happened to sudden and without enough build up. She needed one more stop in between, before going all out on the savagness. Destroy the Red Keep, kill many civilians but not on pupose and then after taking the throne, she would be be opposed by Sansa and the rest of the realm and that's when she would go all out and not give a crap anymore.

It’s not what the nerds and fairy tale seekers wanted and that’s good. This was never a story for them to begin with. I hope Danaerys burns the entire country from Dorne to the wall but I’m sure whatever happens will be fine

I thought this episode was amazing. It really sorted out alot of the problems the show has been having. This had that season 1-5 feel of having characters that are morally complex, with the viewer not being sure who's side we were on.

Story is too rushed - cramming too much story into 6 episodes that each one (other than the first two) feel far too rushed and filled with too many logic gaps. But this episode was far better than episode 4 .

There were some AWESOME visuals in this episode, but as someone who binged -watched the first 6 seasons, I feel like they laid the groundwork for Daenerys’ power-hungry grab and madness back in Season 5. As you see her get more power, she starts to like it more (and who wouldn’t???) but it is always tinged with an edge of cruelty. Sure, it was ok because it was focused on slave masters, but was that really ok? It’s the ole “do two wrongs make right” conundrum. In her case, no, because we see her become, as Tyrion suggested, the “Queen of Ashes.” I understand her desperation and her lust for revenge-and no one has suffered more than Gray Worm. But there is no honor in attacking and killing unarmed enemies and innocent people. I suspect watching it over the course of years was different from binge watching it because while I see why people love her, and she did do good and noble things, they really hit the audience over the head with it to the point It became tiresome and a bore watching her be regaled as the “Savior.” It was like “ok, we get it! Now let’s keep it moving”...just my opinion, for which one of my friends said she will never forgive me! 😃😉. As always, love your reviews for this and TWD!

I would have to disagree that she made a 180. I think from the moment she begins crucifying the Masters in Mareen, to burning the Tarlys for simply refusing to bend the knee - that's a tyrant in the making. The loss of her advisors just sealed the deal for her and she went all out.

GRRM didn't have instant fan reaction when he was writing the books. He set Dany up to be the villain from the very beginning. Can't retract that now that everyone loves the character. And Jamie reverting back to his old ways. I wanted him to end up free from Cersei. But this is GOT. They don't play that way.

They set it up and payed it off perfect 👌... To me it's not about a good or bad guy, it's just a realistic story. It's her throne. It's her birth right and obviously they provoked the dragon! She should win game of thrones

The cast and crew did an awesome job..but the writers... Dracarys

Viscerys would have been a much better character than flip-flop Dany. He could of slowly got a bit better and then flipped alla the Mad King. Dany is unrealistic since she is dull and self-righteous. Here's hoping the Imp executes her and takes the throne in episode 6.

Don't make everyone wait 2 years and deliver garbage. I liked some aspects but it is some here we go we don't care attitude. She better be alive and get the wicked death she deserves. It wasn't worth the wait.
