76ers would not be in the playoffs if it wasn't for Ben Simmons. He controls the flow of the game and can get to the rim at will. He's easily top 5 two way player.

Been Simmons needs to workout with JJ redick who is a shooting instructor... develope his shot and gain confidence..being a pro player and not being able to shoot would make you look weak and foolish

Ben Simmons really doesn't need to shoot when you have other players taking up the scoring load. Let Tobias, Butler, Embid, and reddick needs to go lights out for a change, besides he great in his own right.....he is an outstanding playmaker and judging from the stats....I think he just needs to play harder in crunch time....not everybody needs to shoot threes....he's a all-star for a reason let him earn it

Stephen Jackson only supports African-American players. If you are white or from outside the US, he is a hater. Ben Simmons proved him wrong in a big way. The difference with Simmons is he knows his weakness and decides to put his team ahead of his personal stats, basically the opposite of Jackson, who got kicked out of San Antonio because of his ego. He would still chuck up 3s when he was only making 27% of them.

Championship teams tend to be led by complete players. Simmons without a jump shot is an incomplete player. So it will always compromise his team to a harmful to a counterproductive degree, especially in the clutch. And so it's easier to game plan for him as the quality of competition rises, match-ups notwithstanding. Outside of that does anyone get the impression he is kind of an immature punk?

Just think about this Ben Simmons is still learning he is in his 2nd year he was already rookie of the year and a all star in 2 years he has been the 3 seed with back to back 50 win season yes he needs to shoot but he is already better then Stephan Jackson he is a better passer and rebounder and its plenty of players that couldn't shoot at first like magic Jason kid lebron etc and giannas is in his 5th year year and he is still learning how to shoot he shoots more then Simmons but he still doesn't have a jump shot and he might be the mvp without it but the celtics are going to make him have to shoot alot more so we will see how that series goes botton line is Simmons is giving u 18 9 and 8 and he doesn't know how to shoot jump shots or free those yet that's pretty impressive and now he can get the training from magic Johnson since he stepped down from the Lakers

I dont mind Simmons not being able to shoot as long as hes aggressive like he was last night. If the Sixers are going to get to the championship round Simmons has to keep being aggressive.

Nearly every NBA player became a better shooter over time. Simmons can absolutely become at least a decent jump shot/FT shooter.

Jackson made an ignorant comment. He said you’re in the NBA you should be able to shoot. He should’ve said if you’re a guard/forward you should be able to have a midrange shot. I don’t remember Shaq, Kareem (minus the sky hook), or most of the big men in previous eras shoot any mid range jumpers. Simmons could score 60 points in a game and they’d be saying “he only took one shot beyond 8 ft from the rim”.
