Ingredients & Shopping List
+ For the cashew cream:
Cashews (raw and unsalted)
Water
+ For the Overnight Oats (366 calories, 17g fat, 9g protein, 40g carbs per serving)
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1/4 cup chia seeds
1/4 cup cashew cream, diluted with 3/4 cup water to make cashew milk
Vanilla Extract
Artificial sweetener of your choice
Pinch of kosher salt
Berries and mint for topping
+ For the Turkey Bacon BLT (357 calories, 9g fat, 36g protein, 37g carbs per serving)
4 slices low-fat turkey bacon
3 Tbsp cashew cream with sprinkles of mustard powder, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper (to make "mayo")
1 heirloom tomato, thinly sliced
Sprouted whole wheat bread, lightly toasted
Spinach or butter lettuce
+ For the Cashew Chicken Salad (439 calories, 18g fat, 52g protein, 17g carbs per serving)
3 chicken breasts, butterflied and pounded to a uniform thin-ness
2-3 Tbsp cashew cream
1 apple, diced
4 green onions, minced
2-3 Tbsp minced parsley
Sprinkle of curry powder
Kosher salt and black pepper
+ For the Shrimp Pasta with Garlic and Basil (472 calories, 14g fat, 30g protein, 42g carbs per serving)
4 ounces red lentil pasta
2 Tablespoons olive oil, divided
1/2 pound shrimp, shelled and deveined (shells optionally reserved)
1 shallot, finely minced
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp dried oregano
8 ounces cherry tomatoes, halved
1/4 cup packed basil leaves, minced
1/4 cup dry white wine (optional)
1/4 cup cashew cream
1/4 cup packed parsley, minced

High powered blender (for cashew cream)

Ass is a healthy one
My friend lost about 20kg by eating only meat and fats( oil or butter) with some salt in about a month. I followed suit and used intermittment fasting and the same diet and lost 4 kg in less than 3 weeks, but I pair it with fruits and veggies to make it more balanced amd healthy.
He was obese before whereas I'm just normal weight. His doctor said healthwise he's doing just fine.

Do I need to rob the entire aisle of spices at my local supermarket just to make some freaking oats?
While turkey bacon has less bacon, it's still full of unhealthy nitrates.
Try replacing it with some turkey breast and thinly sliced sauteed mushroom. although this goes further from a BLT, add a scrambled or fried egg and a slice of cheese to it. This will really increase the umami.
