I remember when he started Madea. The plays were a staple in the black community. Your hometown of New Orleans is proud!

I worked at Tyler perry studios back in 2015 before everything was finished. The place is humongous. It’s definitely like a city inside of a city. When I worked there they filmed the walking dead and madeas boo 1 and 2. It’s not unbelievable for me to see how far it’s come. Good job Mr.Perry and thank you for the opportunity and experience.

This interviewer was very condescending..... (strike one)He asked what drove you to build this empire if i could call it that ummm when you own a studio that's bigger than the four studio lots in LA combined it's kind of a slap in the face. Then he reference "how difficult was it to break into that clan ,That Tribe" rather than saying how difficult was it to break into that industry or tightly knitted community. i replayed that a few times over it still sounds crazy never put clan followed by tribe when speaking to a african american man.

These are questions you ask when you are genuinely concerned or interested in how someone thinks and what the to have to say. POC, especially blacks, are so secretive with how they do things that nothing gets passed down generationally and the collective of people continue to fail. He's giving good info that maps out his success so others may follow and learn.

A black man from the south...who could be seen as "talking white" and built his career off what could be seen as "cross dressing" and being an "uncle tom".
